Development Centre in India
— a core R&D and engineering hub responsible for building next-generation AI and cybersecurity solutions.

Position Overview

The
India Head – Development Centre
will lead the establishment and scaling of our India-based product engineering operations.

This role requires a
hands-on technical leader
with deep experience in
software architecture, product development, and team building
— someone who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment and leads by example.

You will work closely with global leadership to shape the technology roadmap, build a world-class team, and deliver high-quality, scalable software products that drive enterprise value.

Key Responsibilities

1. Establish & Lead India R&D Centre

• Set up the India development centre including infrastructure, team structure, and operating processes.
• Build a high-performance engineering team aligned with the company's global goals and technical culture.
• Act as the primary point of leadership for all India-based engineering activities.

2. Drive Product Engineering & Delivery

• Own the design, architecture, and delivery of core product components.
• Work closely with product and AI teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Ensure development excellence, scalability, and security across all releases.

3. Hands-On Technical Leadership

• Spend at least
  70–80% of time in coding, architecture reviews, or design sessions
  .
• Provide strong technical mentorship and direction to engineers.
• Lead by example with high-quality code, technical rigor, and innovation mindset.

4. Build & Mentor Teams

• Hire top-tier engineers across backend, AI/ML, DevOps, and platform domains.
• Create an ownership-driven culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
• Implement learning and growth programs to develop internal technical leadership.

5. Ensure Operational Excellence

• Define and implement agile processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
• Establish key performance metrics for productivity, quality, and velocity.
• Maintain close alignment with the global product roadmap and delivery timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• 12–20 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in
  technical leadership or architect roles
  .
• Proven track record in
  building scalable SaaS or cloud-native products
  (preferably in cybersecurity, AI, or automation domains).
• Strong proficiency in
  Python, Java, or Go
  , and experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep understanding of
  system design, data pipelines, CI/CD, and cloud security
  .

• Demonstrated ability to
  build and scale teams
  from the ground up.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across global teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable working in an
  early-stage, fast-moving environment
  .
• High energy, problem-solving attitude, and ownership-driven personality.

Preferred Background

• Experience as a
  Principal Architect, Director of Engineering, or similar
  in a product-focused organization.
• Prior exposure to
  cybersecurity, SOC automation, or AI/ML
  products.
• Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in
  Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  from a reputed institution.
