Senior Business Consultant

We are looking for a strategic thinker and problem solver to join our Strategic Offerings team as a Senior Business Consultant. You'll be working at the intersection of business, technology, and innovation, helping identify and implement digital solutions that transform insurance client processes and drive operational efficiency. Key Objectives:Identify Business Opportunities: Analyze business challenges and identify opportunities for digital transformation in the P&C insurance domain. Solution Discovery & Implementation: Assess and integrate internal digital solutions in partnership with business teams and the Client Technology Group.

Market Research & Vendor Management: Conduct market research, evaluate external solution providers, and ensure compliance with security, legal, and regulatory requirements. Proof of Concept & Deployment: Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) projects, document insights, and oversee full-scale deployment into larger business processes. Key Responsibilities:Business Analysis & Strategy:Work closely with business teams to define future state goals and uncover transformation opportunities

Identify and evaluate opportunities for digital transformation. Solution Identification & Roadmap Development:Research and identify suitable internal and external digital solutions. Develop a roadmap for digital transformation, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

Vendor Evaluation & Risk Assessment:Identify external technology providers, conduct due diligence, and lead vendor assessment. Collaborate with security, compliance, and legal teams to ensure risk mitigation and regulatory alignment. Execution & DeploymentLead PoCs, evaluate results, and scale successful solutions into core business processes.

Track KPIs and drive adoption of solutions to maximize business impact. Change ManagementDevelop and execute change management strategies to drive adoption and ensure successful transformation initiatives

Collaborate with stakeholders to manage resistance , provide training and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Skills & Qualifications:13 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry, preferably with a background in underwriting and catastrophe modeling. Strong understanding of insurance industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics. Expertise in business process analysis, identifying areas for efficiency improvement through digital solutions.

Strong project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams. Ability to conduct detailed market research and evaluate solution providers for strategic alignment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring collaboration across business, technology, and compliance teams.

Proficiency in change management practices, ensuring smooth adoption of new digital solutions. Preferred Skills:Experience working with insurtech solutions and emerging digital tools in insurance. Familiarity with data analytics, AI/ML applications, and automation technologies in insurance.

Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or process improvement (Lean Six Sigma). Experience with agile methodologies and change management practices.
