  • Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform routine maintenance, monitor network performance, and execute hardware/software upgrades and patches.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Security: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewall configurations, to protect the network infrastructure.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, cabling, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work with other IT staff on network design and implementation, and provide technical support and training to end-users.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of computer hardware, network protocols, and components like routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
