Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Sales Director to lead our 12-member sales team and drive growth across recycling, packaging, extrusion, and molding sectors. The ideal candidate will:

  • Build and maintain relationships with MRFs, brands, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Drive discussions from prospecting to closure, including negotiating and delegating high-value projects (₹1 crore / $150K+).
  • Manage and analyze daily KPIs using HubSpot CRM and Power BI dashboards.
  • Expand Gaurav Engineering's footprint in emerging markets: Africa, Middle East, South Asia, and South America.
  • Lead initiatives for Gaurav Recycling Centers, converting trials into recurring toll-processing or machinery sales.
  • Bring experience with plastic recycling machinery, washing lines, and ancillary recycling processes (a strong plus).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years in B2B industrial machinery or capital equipment sales, with international exposure.
  • Proven experience in data-driven sales leadership, KPI management, CRM analytics, and high-value project negotiation.
  • Ability to delegate effectively, manage high-performing teams, and drive cross-geography collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.

  • Daily KPI adherence and CRM reporting accuracy
  • Sales revenue, margin, and profitability targets
  • Strategic partnerships with recycling ecosystem stakeholders
  • Market expansion in emerging and international markets
  • ROI of campaigns and customer acquisition metrics

Travel Requirements

  • International: up to 5% of the time
  • Domestic: up to 10% of the time
