We are seeking an 
experienced and detail-oriented Proposal Writer
 with a solid background in the IT industry and a proven ability to craft high-quality, compliant, and persuasive proposals for government and enterprise clients. This role demands strong expertise in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, especially for large-value, long-term contracts. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, collaborative team player, and exceptional communicator who can manage the full proposal lifecycle from planning to submission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze tender documents, RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs to understand client objectives, eligibility criteria, and response requirements.
  • Develop well-structured, compelling technical and commercial proposals aligned with tender guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams - sales, pre-sales, technical, delivery, legal, and finance - to gather accurate and timely inputs.
  • Maintain and regularly update a central proposal content library, including reusable components, templates, and case references.
  • Manage the end-to-end proposal lifecycle: content development, stakeholder reviews, version control, submission, and follow-up.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of proposals, in required formats and through appropriate channels (e.g., e-tendering platforms).
  • Lead internal bid review meetings, ensuring compliance, quality, and alignment with business strategy.
  • Track proposal outcomes, analyze win/loss ratios, and contribute to improving the overall proposal strategy and process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal writing for IT/Software Services –

  • Proven track record in responding to government and enterprise tenders, with emphasis on long-term or high-value contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of tendering procedures across public and private sectors.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with government e-procurement portals (e.g., GeM, CPP, eTender).
  • Familiarity with international bidding frameworks (EU, US, or Middle East markets).
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Office, SharePoint, Google Workspace, or proposal automation platforms (e.g., Loopio, RFPIO).
