Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Account Manager located in Surat. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client accounts, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Day-to-day tasks include tracking account metrics, handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery. The role will also involve developing and implementing account strategies to drive business growth and working closely with the sales team to meet revenue targets.

Responsibility

  • Supervise daily accounting operations (Sales, Purchase, Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, etc.).
  • Maintain books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards (Tally/ERP).
  • Ensure accurate posting of journal entries, adjustments, and provisions.
  • Manage monthly and annual financial statements — Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow.
  • Monitor accounts receivable/payable and ensure timely collection/payments.
  • GST
    (GSTR-1, 3B, Annual Return, Reconciliation)
  • TDS
    (Deduction, Deposit & Quarterly Returns)
  • Income Tax
    (Advance Tax, Return Filing)
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory and tax audits.
  • Maintain compliance calendar and ensure zero default in filings.
  • Keep updated with new laws, notifications, and amendments in taxation & accounting standards.
  • Manage banking operations — fund transfers, bank reconciliation, loan documentation.
  • Supervise the accounts team and assign responsibilities.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure timely completion of accounting activities by team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred.
  • Minimum 4–8 years of experience in Accounts & Compliance.
  • Proficiency in
    Tally ERP / SAP / Excel

  • Sound knowledge of
    GST, TDS
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
