Job Overview
The Front Office Manager will oversee all front desk operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences from check-in to check-out. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage the team effectively and maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate front office staff (receptionists, bell desk, concierge, etc.).
- Ensure smooth check-in, check-out, and reservation processes.
- Handle guest complaints, requests, and feedback with professionalism.
- Manage room allocations, bookings, and coordination with housekeeping and other departments.
- Monitor front office operations to ensure compliance with hotel policies and standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly front office reports.
- Control costs while maximizing guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
- Maintain positive guest relations and ensure a welcoming environment.
- Implement staff schedules, duty rosters, and performance evaluations.
- Stay updated on hospitality trends and suggest service improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in front office operations (hospitality industry preferred).
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of PMS (Property Management Systems) and MS Office.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and maintain high service standards.
- Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
