We are looking for a Senior Privacy & Security Engineer who can help us build secure systems and ensure our products follow international data protection laws like GDPR and Swiss FADP. The ideal candidate will focus on application security, data protection, and building privacy-first features.Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure our systems meet GDPR and Swiss data protection requirements.
  • Build privacy features such as user consent, data access requests, data portability, and data deletion.
  • Implement strong security controls, encryption, and secure authentication/authorization.
  • Set up monitoring and logging to track security events and compliance issues.
  • Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis.
  • Write clean, secure code based on privacy-by-design principles.
  • Review code for security risks and respond to security incidents.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to understand regulatory needs.
  • Provide security guidance to engineering teams when needed.

Required Skills

Security & Compliance

  • Strong understanding of GDPR implementation.
  • Knowledge of application security and secure coding (OWASP Top 10).
  • Experience with encryption, OAuth/OIDC, and key management.

Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a security focus.
  • Strong skills in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with AWS and cloud security services.
  • Good understanding of database security and secure data storage.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and securing CI/CD pipelines.

Professional Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prepare clear documentation.
  • Team player with mentoring ability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Swiss FADP.
  • Security certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
  • Experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or other security frameworks.
  • Understanding of PCI DSS for payment systems.
  • Experience with JavaScript/React, e-commerce, or retail systems.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes security.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80, ₹120,000.00 per month
