Key Accounts Manager

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Key Account Manager to manage and expand our strategic relationships with clients in the United States market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling mid-to-large US clients and a understanding of working with offshore delivery teams in India to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. In the long term, the incumbent may also have the opportunity to relocate to the US, based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture key client relationships in the US, ensuring long-term satisfaction and account growth.
- Drive account revenue through renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Conduct regular client check-ins, business reviews, and feedback sessions.
- Handle escalations effectively by bridging communication between client and offshore teams.
- Analyze account metrics and create reports to track account health and performance.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive activities, and customer strategies.
Requirements:
- 510 years of experience in Key Account Management / Client Services / Sales / Business Development / Inside Sales, with at least 3+ years managing US-based clients.
- Strong understanding of global delivery models and cross-cultural communication.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in SaaS, IT services, consulting, or outsourcing industries.
- Flexibility to work in overlapping US time zones as needed.
