Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated EEE with a passion for technology and technical writing to join our Documentation team as a Technical Documentation Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with engineering and product teams to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for embedded systems and electronic products, supporting the aerospace and defense sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain user manuals, technical datasheets, and installation guides for embedded and electronic systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand system features, functions, and configurations.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, readable documentation suitable for various user levels.
  • Ensure all documentation adheres to relevant aerospace and defense standards (e.g., MIL-STD, ISO).
  • Use version control tools to manage and track document revisions.
  • Participate in document reviews and incorporate feedback from engineers and QA teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good understanding of embedded systems, electronics, or computing concepts (academic or project-based knowledge acceptable).
  • Proficiency in MS Word, and familiarity with Adobe tools (e.g., Acrobat, Illustrator, or FrameMaker).
  • Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow structured documentation formats.
  • Willingness to learn industry-specific standards like MIL-STD or ISO documentation formats.

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):

  • Familiarity with any technical documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, DITA XML).
  • Exposure to defense/aerospace standards or project work.
  • Internship or academic project involving technical writing or electronics.
