  • Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance strategies and procedures within the Assembly Business Unit, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

  • Utilize expertise in SAP QA Module, proficiently read and interpret drawings & CAD data, and employ tools like G8D, PPAP, 8D, FMEA, Control Plan, and Child Parts Quality Planning to ensure product quality.
  • Demonstrate expertise in IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards, leading and coordinating audits while ensuring compliance and continual improvement.
  • Manage customer audits, internal audits, and stores audits, ensuring effective communication and resolution of quality-related issues.
  • Drive initiatives related to 5S, Kaizen, Total Quality Management (TQM), Daily Work Management (DWM), Safety protocols, FIFO, suggestions system, and participate actively in quality improvement projects.
  • Lead and facilitate initiatives such as Quality Circle, and Zero-Defect Drive, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and zero-defect mentality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence of quality issues.

  • Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of quality consciousness, and ensuring the team's competency in quality-related methodologies.

  • Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (B.E. Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 04 -07 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance within the automotive industry, preferably in an Assembly line of advance electronic components.
  • Proficiency in SAP QA Module, understanding of drawings & CAD data, and expertise in quality tools like G8D, PPAP, 8D, FMEA, Control Plan, and Child Parts Quality Planning.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
  • Proven track record in handling customer audits, internal audits, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Exposure to 5S, Kaizen, TQM, DWM, Safety protocols, FIFO, SMED, Quality Circle, and Zero Defect Drive initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
  • Ability to drive and lead cross-functional teams towards quality objectives.
