Job Purpose:

Drive the growth and profitability of the
business loan portfolio
within the assigned region by effectively managing sales, customer relationships, and operational excellence. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, building a high-quality loan book, ensuring timely collections, and leading a large sales team to deliver sustainable business growth.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development activities to
    grow the unsecured and secured business loan portfolio
    .
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to
    acquire new customers
    and
    retain existing clients
    .
  • Provide
    product expertise
    on business loans, including CC/OD facilities, and support the team with market insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the
    Credit, Operations, and Collections teams
    to ensure smooth execution.
  • Track and analyze
    team performance
    through regular reviews, goal setting, and feedback sessions.
  • Ensure
    timely and accurate submission
    of MIS reports – daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Monitor
    portfolio quality
    , track delinquencies, and drive timely repayments to maintain healthy asset quality.
  • Regularly
    travel across the assigned cluster
    to support business and team requirements.

Experience / Skills / Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience:
    7–9 years of banking or NBFC experience with specialization in
    Unsecured/Secured Business Loans
    and
    team management
    .
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large teams of
    Area Managers and Relationship Officers
    (team size of 50+).
  • Exposure to
    ticket sizes of ₹25 lakh and above
    .
