Key responsibilities

  • Data input: Accurately and efficiently enter data from various sources into databases and computer systems.
  • Data verification and correction: Review documents for accuracy and consistency, and correct any errors or discrepancies.
  • Data maintenance: Maintain and update databases, ensuring data integrity and performing regular backups.
  • Confidentiality and security: Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to data security policies.
  • Document management: Organize and file both physical and digital documents, and prepare documents for electronic storage.
  • Reporting: Generate reports from the data, and assist with data analysis and quality checks.
  • Communication: Collaborate with team members and other departments to gather necessary information and ensure data accuracy.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
