Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Clinical Psychology Intern to support our mission of providing high-quality mental health services. This internship offers hands-on experience in clinical settings, opportunities to work alongside experienced professionals, and a chance to make a meaningful impact in the field of mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting psychological assessments and evaluations under supervision.
- Support licensed clinicians in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Participate in case consultations, treatment planning, and progress monitoring.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Engage in research or program development activities related to mental health initiatives.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and supervision meetings to enhance clinical skills.
Qualifications:
- MPhil or Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of psychological theories, therapeutic techniques, and ethical guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and client-centered approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in mental health settings (e.g., practicum, volunteer work) is a plus but not required.
