Skooc is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist (M.Phil licensed) to lead our pediatric – adult mental health programs while providing direct clinical services. This role combines hands-on therapeutic work with program leadership, focusing on children, adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
The successful candidate will drive program development, manage clinical operations, and deliver specialized interventions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery across our platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership & Program Management:
- Lead and develop Skooc's pediatric mental health programs, establishing clinical protocols and best practices
- Oversee program quality, outcomes measurement, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior clinicians and coordinate multidisciplinary team activities
- Collaborate with business teams to enhance service delivery and client experience
Direct Clinical Services:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, specializing in autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and related neurodevelopmental conditions
- Design and implement individualized, evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents (ages 3-18)
- Design and implement individualized, evidence-based interventions for adults
- Manage complex treatment plans, ensuring continuity and effectiveness of care
- Provide specialized therapeutic services including behavioral interventions, social skills training, and family therapy
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with parents, caregivers, schools, enterprises and multidisciplinary professionals (OTs, speech therapists, psychiatrists, special educators)
- Facilitate team meetings and case conferences to ensure integrated care
- Coordinate with Skooc's technology and product teams to enhance digital therapy delivery
- Maintain partnerships with educational institutions and healthcare providers
Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports in accordance with organizational standards
- Ensure adherence to RCI guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and ethical practice standards
- Contribute to program reporting, outcomes tracking, and quality assurance initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential Requirements:
- M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university/institution
- Valid license/registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
- 5+ years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents
- Specialized expertise in autism spectrum disorders and ADHD assessment and intervention
- Proven experience in program management or clinical leadership roles
Clinical Expertise:
- Advanced knowledge of developmental psychology and neurodevelopmental disorders
- Proficiency in autism diagnostic tools ROWENA to fill the necessary toold and ADHD assessments
- Experience with evidence-based interventions including ABA, CBT, social skills training, and parent training programs
- Strong understanding of special education systems and school-based interventions
Leadership & Business Skills:
- Experience managing clinical teams and developing program protocols
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with cross-functional teams
- Experience with digital health platforms or telehealth delivery (preferred)
Communication & Collaboration:
- Excellent interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders
- Strong presentation and training abilities
- Bilingual capabilities (English/Hindi/Kannada preferred)
- Cultural sensitivity and understanding of Indian family dynamics
