Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain the Storage Automation platform and its integrations with other automation and infrastructure systems.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex platform issues using observability tools, logs, and monitoring systems.
  • Develop and deploy fixes and enhancements to improve platform stability, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and vendor teams to resolve cases and ensure seamless automation workflows.
  • Assist teams in diagnosing issues related to storage device APIs and automation processes.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation interfaces and scripts using Python, Ansible, and Shell Scripting.
  • Contribute to building and managing cloud-based infrastructure platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and VMware.
  • Engage with Business and DevOps teams to define service delivery standards, product roadmaps, and automation capabilities.
  • Implement storage automation and as-a-service solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure adherence to IT governance, risk management, and cost optimization practices.
  • Conduct product testing, qualification, and server/storage remediation activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in automation, infrastructure efficiency, and service quality.

Experience Requirement:

  • 8 – 12 years of experience in infrastructure automation and platform engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, and VMware environments.
  • Proven experience in automation and scripting using Python, Ansible, or Shell.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience working with storage systems, APIs, and performance tuning.
  • Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
