We're a small, remote-first team with a startup mindset — fast, flexible, and focused on building scalable systems. As Keyzing expands into fintech, payments, and high-risk digital products (including gaming and related services), we're looking for a Compliance Officer who can help us stay fully compliant with global regulations while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all compliance, legal, and regulatory activities across Keyzing's digital platform and payment operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Visa, Mastercard, and PSP/acquirer rules, including merchant category codes (MCC), high-risk processing, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain AML, KYC, and responsible gaming frameworks suitable for high-risk digital environments.
  • Prepare and manage compliance documentation, internal policies, and website disclosures for
  • Act as the primary contact for financial institutions, PSPs, and regulators, handling due diligence, onboarding, and audits.
  • Review and advise on contracts, terms, and payment agreements from a legal and regulatory standpoint.
  • Monitor VAT, financial, and cross-border obligations to ensure full compliance and avoid penalties.
  • Stay updated on EU and international regulations (PSD3, PSR, AMLA, DSA, gambling and high-risk product frameworks).
  • Implement controls to protect Keyzing from fines, license risks, or non-compliance issues.
  • Train internal teams and promote a compliance-first culture across all high-risk product categories.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Fintech, Payments, iGaming, or Digital Platform compliance roles.
  • Solid understanding of Visa & Mastercard scheme rules and acquirer/PSP operations for high-risk merchants.
  • Background in law, regulatory affairs, or finance (degree in Law, Finance, or related field preferred).
  • Knowledge of EU financial and data protection frameworks (PSD2/3, AMLD6, GDPR, DSA).
  • Experience dealing with banks, PSPs, and regulators.
  • Understanding of high-risk industry compliance — including gaming, software keys, or voucher-based digital products.
  • Awareness of VAT, accounting, and cross-border reporting.
  • Fluent in English, detail-oriented, and comfortable working remotely with a small, international team.
  • Experience with EU fintech licensing (EMI/API) or gambling regulation is an asset.
