Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex BigQuery data solutions
  • Implement and optimize Big Query datasets, ensuring efficient data storage and query performance
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and DataProc.
  • Create and manage federated queries across multiple data sources
  • Develop and maintain BigQuery notebooks and utilize Data Canvas for advanced data analysis
  • Implement best practices for BigQuery dataset management and performance optimization
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions
  • Perform data modeling and schema design for optimal BigQuery performance
  • Implement data governance and security measures within BigQuery environments
  • Development of Power BI Reports

Technical Skills

  • Expert-level knowledge of BigQuery SQL and advanced query optimization techniques
  • Proven experience in BigQuery administration and development
  • Deep understanding of BigQuery best practices for dataset management
  • Extensive experience with BigQuery notebooks and Data Canvas
  • Proficiency in Python and PySpark

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including:

  • Cloud Functions

  • DataProc
  • Cloud Storage
  • Dataflow

  • AirFlow

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports with complex DAX calculations.

  • Implement row-level security (RLS) and govern data access policies.
