We are looking for a skilled and experienced Backend Developer ) to join our growing team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate must have a strong command over and related backend frameworks, with a proven track record of building scalable and efficient server-side applications.

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs using

  • Build server-side logic using frameworks such as and NestJS.

  • Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, and secure code while following industry best practices.
  • Optimize backend performance and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

Preferred candidate profile

Backend Technologies:

  • Strong hands-on experience in (with , NestJS)

Additional Skills:

  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design, MVC architecture, and backend security best practices.
  • Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based environments for server-side deployment.
  • Proficient in version control systems (Git).
  • Understanding of authentication mechanisms, session management, and data validation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 to 10 years of backend development experience.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for web applications
