SAP SD Consultant Job Description

Job Brief

We are seeking a skilled and proactive SAP SD Consultant to join our team and support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the SAP Sales and Distribution module. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP SD processes and a strong understanding of business operations related to sales, shipping, billing, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP SD solutions
  • Design, configure, and test SAP SD modules including order processing, pricing, shipping, billing, and credit management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (MM, FI, LE)
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users and stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SD functionality
  • Document functional specifications, test cases, and system configurations
  • Provide ongoing support for SAP SD systems and participate in upgrades and enhancements
  • Recommend process improvements and system optimizations

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP SD full-cycle implementations and support projects
  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD processes and configuration
  • Experience with integration points between SD and other SAP modules
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with S/4HANA is a plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • SAP SD certification preferred
