Your New Role
As a
Senior Manager
– Corporate Communication
, you will lead the development and delivery of Novo Nordisk's corporate narrative across print, social, and lifestyle media channels. You will cultivate and manage relationships with health, financial, and mainstream media, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging. Additionally, you will oversee internal communications to foster organisational alignment and engagement, while proactively managing crisis and issues to protect and enhance the company's reputation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically lead media relations by developing and nurturing trust-based partnerships with key media outlets to enhance and safeguard Novo Nordisk's reputation.
- Design and implement annual communication plans that maximise media exposure for corporate initiatives, product launches, and participation in major conferences and events.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and codes of conduct, guaranteeing that all media materials and press releases meet the highest standards of accuracy and integrity.
- Deliver targeted media training to managers and designated spokespeople, equipping them to represent Novo Nordisk confidently and effectively in public forums.
- Establish robust systems for monitoring and evaluating media coverage, providing actionable insights to inform future communication strategies.
- Lead proactive issues and crisis management, including the development and regular updating of crisis communication plans, and coordinate responses in collaboration with international teams.
- Oversee PR agency partnerships and internal communications, ensuring alignment with business objectives, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and supporting organisational change initiatives.
Your Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Possesses 8-12 years of experience in Corporate, Marketing Communications, Public Relations, and media organizations, with a strong emphasis on advanced writing skills and outstanding media relations.
- Demonstrates superior proficiency in written and verbal communication, consistently delivering clear and impactful messages to diverse audiences.
- Evidencing strong leadership, including leading teams, PR agencies, autonomous decision-making, and effective team collaboration.
- Exhibits a proactive mindset, regularly taking initiative and achieving results within fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Adapts effectively to change, maintaining composure and productivity as priorities and circumstances evolve.
- Upholds the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical conduct, remaining committed to Novo Nordisk's values in all professional engagements.
