Role Overview
We're seeking a dynamic
Media & Corporate Communications Manager
to lead Scimplify's external communication and brand visibility initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing our public relations strategy, media outreach, and corporate messaging to strengthen Scimplify's reputation as a leading global specialty chemicals company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive media and corporate communications strategy aligned with Scimplify's business goals.
- Manage PR initiatives - including press releases, media interactions, interviews, and coverage opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media houses, and PR agencies.
- Draft and oversee communication materials such as press releases, speeches, articles, and corporate announcements.
- Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all external communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams (leadership, marketing, HR) to highlight key achievements, partnerships, and milestones.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage, preparing insights and reports for leadership.
- Manage crisis communications and ensure timely, transparent external messaging.
- Lead initiatives to enhance Scimplify's corporate image, thought leadership, and employer branding through earned media.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or media relations, preferably in a B2B or industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Strong network and relationships with business and trade media.
- Proven ability to handle high-visibility communication projects and crisis situations.
- Experience working with or managing external PR agencies.
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and storytelling ability.
