Role Overview

The Plant Head will oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, cost optimization, and timely delivery. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, process improvements, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to meet production targets and align with company goals.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Budget Management: Oversee plant budgets, controlling costs and optimizing resource utilization to achieve financial objectives.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
• Process Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve productivity through lean manufacturing principles.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align manufacturing operations with business , , CiteHR, Indeed, )

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field. An MBA or Master's in Industrial Management is advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in manufacturing or production management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Certifications: Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Safety Management are preferred.
• Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, strategic planning, and communication skills.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.(Expertia, Expertia, )
