Finance and Accounts Intern


Job Summary:


We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance and Accounts Intern to support our finance department. The intern will assist with day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, financial analysis, and reporting. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance and accounting while developing your skills in a dynamic and growing environment.


Key Responsibilities:


Bookkeeping and Record Keeping:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by entering data into accounting systems.

  • Help prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.


Accounts Payable & Receivable:

  • Help in managing accounts payable and receivable by tracking outstanding invoices and payments.

  • Assist in reconciling accounts and processing vendor payments.


Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.

  • Assist in maintaining financial records in both physical and digital formats.


Other Duties:

  • Support special projects and initiatives within the finance department.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving financial processes.


Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, etc.).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
