Key Responsibilities
- Team Management & Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and motivate the telesales team to meet or exceed sales and customer engagement targets consistently. Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to build capability and accountability. Foster a customer-centric and high-performance culture within the team.
- Resource Allocation & Planning: Plan and allocate daily/weekly sales activities, call volumes, and lead distribution among team members. Optimize workforce scheduling to ensure coverage across peak hours and campaigns. Track productivity and reallocate resources dynamically to maximize results.
- Sales Operations & Customer Engagement: Oversee outbound calling activities, including lead generation, cold calling, needs assessment, and appointment setting. Support team members in overcoming objections, improving conversion ratios, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Ensure adherence to dealership sales processes and compliance standards.
- CRM & Cloud Telephony Management: Administer and monitor Salesforce CRM to track leads, opportunities, follow-ups, and conversions. Oversee the use of cloud telephony systems to ensure efficient call handling, tracking, and reporting. Collaborate with IT/operations teams to resolve system issues and implement enhancements.
- Hiring & Capability Development: Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new telesales executives. Build succession plans and career paths for team members. Develop skill enhancement programs on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer handling.
- Reporting & Insights: Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to management. Provide actionable insights on lead quality, call efficiency, customer trends, and sales pipeline health. Recommend strategies to improve conversion, reduce drop-offs, and enhance customer experience.
Ideal Candidate:
- 5–7 years of telesales experience with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/assistant manager role, preferably in the automotive or related industry.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and cloud telephony systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Resilience in handling pressure, rejection, and challenging sales situations.
