Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Staffing:
    Lead recruitment for store staff, sales teams, warehouse, and back-office functions. Ensure timely hiring and onboarding.
  • Employee Relations:
    Address grievances, ensure healthy work culture, and maintain high employee engagement levels.
  • Performance Management:
    Implement appraisal systems, set KPIs aligned with retail sales targets, and support career development.
  • Training & Development:
    Identify skill gaps, coordinate training programs for sales, warehouse, and support staff.
  • HR Operations:
    Manage payroll inputs, attendance, shift scheduling, leave management, and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.).
  • Policies & Compliance:
    Draft and implement HR policies, ensure compliance with labor laws, audits, and health & safety regulations.
  • Employee Retention:
    Drive employee motivation programs, reduce attrition, and promote long-term retention in retail operations.
  • HR Data & Reporting:
    Maintain HR MIS, generate reports on headcount, attrition, and manpower planning.

Requirements:

  • Master's / Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of HR experience, preferably in
    retail, wholesale, or FMCG sector
    .
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS/payroll software.
  • Ability to manage diverse workforce including sales, warehouse, and support staff.
