About Us:

8MH Organic is a leading short-term rental platform managing premium villas, farmstays, and holiday homes across India. We help property owners monetize underutilized assets and offer travelers unique, curated stays.

We're looking for a smart, detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our team and transform raw data into actionable business insights.

Location:

Remote (India-based candidates preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and interpret data from bookings, pricing trends, guest behavior, and sales team performance
  • Track conversion funnels and identify gaps in lead-to-booking journeys
  • Analyse pricing patterns for all properties and suggest optimised dynamic pricing models
  • Work with the BD and Sales team to tailor pitches based on past performance, region, guest type, and seasonal data
  • Support upselling and loyalty strategies by tracking guest frequency, preferences, and property popularity
  • Generate performance dashboards, monthly reports, and KPI summaries
  • Contribute to automation of recurring tasks such as pricing updates and occupancy tracking
  • Identify patterns that trigger cancellations or 5-star reviews to improve overall service quality
  • Assist marketing team to implement a loyalty program
  • Work with the social media team to analyse social metrics and suggest measures to improve the same

You Should Have:

  • Strong knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
  • Understanding of basic data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio is a plus)
  • Good logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for hospitality, real estate, or the travel-tech space
  • Ability to present complex data in clear, visual, and actionable formats
  • Organized, reliable, and able to work independently

Bonus Points For:

  • Knowledge of CRM platforms (Hubspot, Zoho, etc.)
  • Understanding of Airbnb, , or other OTA platforms
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation and lifecycle strategies
  • Academic background in Business Analytics, Statistics, or Hotel Management
