Job Title:
GIS Application Developer/Manager Technical

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of utility industry data standards and best practices.

Strong proficiency in developing custom tools and scripts using Arcpy to automate tasks for utility Network data.

Develop and implement efficient and robust geoprocessing workflows and custom tools using ArcPy (Python scripting within ArcGIS).

Develop custom tools and workflows leveraging Arcpy to interact with and analyze Utility Network data.

Integrate utility network with other enterprise systems (like: ADMS, Katapult, Reporting etc.)

Integrate GIS data and services with other enterprise systems and databases.

Perform data analysis, manipulation, and quality control using ArcGIS Pro and other relevant tools.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GIS applications and infrastructure.

Collaborate effectively with GIS analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Document development processes, code, and application configurations.

Stay up to date with the latest advancements in ESRI technology and GIS best practices.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Design, develop, and deploy custom web mapping applications using ESRI's JavaScript API, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and related technologies.

Configure and customize out-of-the-box web applications using ESRI's ArcGIS Experience Builder.

Potentially mentor and guide junior GIS developers.
