JOB DESCRIPTION – SALES EXECUTIVE (PLASTIC SHEETS & EXTRUSION PRODUCTS)

Position Title: Sales Executive

Department: Sales / Trading

Industry: Engineering Plastics / Industrial Plastic Sheets

Experience Required: Minimum 2–4 years

Location: Sharjah

The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling HDPE, PTFE, PVDF, PEEK, ABS, and PVC sheets, along with other extruded plastic products. The role requires strong technical understanding of plastic sheet applications and extrusion-based products (not raw materials). Candidate must have experience in B2B industrial sales, developing new customers, and managing existing accounts.

2. Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and target new clients in industrial, fabrication, engineering, construction, and manufacturing sectors.
  • Promote and sell HDPE, PTFE, PVDF, PEEK, ABS, PVC sheets and extrusion-based products.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities.

Customer Management

  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
  • Provide product information, quotations, and technical support.
  • Follow up on inquiries, orders, and customer feedback.

Technical Knowledge

  • Understand properties, applications, and advantages of engineering plastic sheets.
  • Ability to recommend suitable products based on customer needs.
  • Knowledge of extrusion processes and extruded sheet characteristics (not raw material sales).

Sales Operations

  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and customer visit summaries.
  • Coordinate with logistics and accounts for order processing and delivery.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings as required.

3. Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–4 years sales experience in plastic sheets (HDPE, PTFE, PVDF, PEEK, ABS, PVC) or related engineering plastic products.
  • Strong understanding of extrusion-based industrial plastic sheets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve target-driven goals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic CRM tools.
  • Valid driving license (if field sales required).

4. Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in Engineering Plastics / Industrial Plastics industry.
  • Experience in UAE/GCC markets (if applicable).
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Polymer / Industrial Engineering.
  • Preferred candidates from India (due to product knowledge and market exposure).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹150,000.00 per month
