QA Engineer (Remote Bangalore, India) | PepperHQ

PepperHQ, a UK-based technology company, is seeking a QA Engineer (3 to 6 years experience) to join our fast-growing team. If youre passionate about testing, debugging, and ensuring flawless user experiences, this role gives you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge applications while collaborating with a global team.

Location: Remote (Bangalore-based, with 1 office visit per month) Working Hours: UK hours (1:00 PM 11:00 PM IST)

What Youll Do

  • Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing for mobile apps, APIs, and backend services.
  • Collaborate closely with developers & product managers to ensure features meet quality standards before release.
  • Debug and troubleshoot across mobile, backend, and API layers.
  • Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases with strong coverage.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs using industry-standard tools.
  • Contribute to QA process improvements; automation skills are a plus.

What Were Looking For

  • Experience: 35 years in QA/Software Testing
  • Education: BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent
  • Location: Bangalore (remote with monthly office visits)
  • Working Hours: UK time zone (1:00 PM 11:00 PM IST)

Key Skills

  • Strong experience in API testing and mobile app debugging.
  • Solid knowledge of backend testing and databases (SQL/MySQL).
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Bonus skills: Test automation (Selenium, Cypress, etc.), CI/CD tools, and bug-tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
