Zonal Head - Channel Sales and Distribution role involves managing the company's sales through partners / distribution network. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with key B2B corporate accounts and partners (like resellers, distributors, and affiliates), creating sales strategies, providing partners with training and resources, and monitoring performance to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner relationship management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key B2B Accounts (In Food manufacturing) and channel partners to ensure mutual success.

  • Sales strategy and execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives and campaigns through partners to drive revenue.

  • Partner support and training:

  • Provide partners with the necessary product training, resources, and ongoing support to help them sell effectively.

  • Performance monitoring:

  • Track and analyze channel partner performance against sales targets and identify areas for improvement.

  • Market analysis:

  • Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.

  • Cross-functional collaboration:

  • Work with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product) to align strategies and enhance partner performance.

  • Business development:

  • Identify and onboard new channel partners to expand the company's reach.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Experience:

MBA graduates with 12+ years experience across North Indian cities in channel sales, sales management, or a related role, often within food ingredients / flavors / sutainable packaging industry

  • Leadership:

Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate a network of external partners and internal team

  • Strategic thinking:

Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and analyze market trends.

  • Communication and negotiation:

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for building relationships with partners.

  • Analytical skills:

Proficiency in analyzing sales data and performance metrics to inform strategy.
