We are seeking an accomplished analytics leader with 1014 years of experience in financial services analytics to head the Analytics function at Fedfina. The role will drive collections analytics, growth analytics, risk analytics, and business intelligence, enabling data-driven decision-making across the NBFC's lending products (affordable housing, gold loans, LAP). The individual will partner with risk, credit, and business leadership to design and implement advanced analytics frameworks that strengthen portfolio quality, optimize collections, and manage enterprise risk.

Role & responsibilities

  • Collections Analytics: Develop scorecards, segmentation, and predictive models to improve recovery rates and optimize collection strategies.
  • Entity Analytics: Build frameworks for customer profiling, entity-level risk assessment, and early warning indicators.
  • Risk Analytics: Implement quantitative models for credit risk, portfolio risk monitoring, and stress testing.
  • Business Insights & Reporting: Lead MIS and dashboarding for CRO/Board reporting; ensure timely, accurate, and actionable insights.
  • Advanced Analytics & Tools: Deploy ML/AI techniques for fraud detection, risk prediction, and behavioral modeling.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Risk, Credit, Collections, and Business teams to translate analytics into frontline actions.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Engage with consulting/analytics firms, fintech partners, and data vendors to drive innovation.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure model risk management, data governance, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience: 1014 years in collections analytics, entity analytics, and risk analytics in banks/NBFCs, Big Four consulting firms, or specialized analytics firms serving financial services.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Python/R, visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau), and statistical modeling.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of NBFC lending (retail/secured), risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements
  • Prefer candidate with demonstrable, hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and monitoring credit risk scorecards for Small-ticket or informal income segments Loan Against Property (LAP) / MFI segment
  • Proven ability to act as a thought leader who can Define and Execute a forward-looking data and analytics roadmap. Candidate must have experience in moving an organization towards data-centric decision-making and championing the strategic adoption of AI and ML for competitive advantage
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a high-performing analytics team, influence senior stakeholders, and drive enterprise-wide change.
  • Mindset: Strategic, execution-oriented, and adept at balancing innovation with compliance in a regulated environment.
