About the Organization:

Society for Applied Studies is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting child wellbeing, mental health and evidence-based interventions for children and women. We work through community-based research programs, assessments, and research initiatives to create meaningful impact in the lives.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Research Assistant with a background in Psychology to join our team. The role involves supporting ongoing research and field-based projects related to child development, emotional wellbeing, parenting, and behavioral interventions.

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and contributing to applied research in the social and developmental domains.


Key Responsibilities:

Assist in research, data collection, and documentation..

Support assessments and observational work with children and families.

Maintain research records and assist in data entry and analysis.

Help in preparing reports, presentations, and other materials.

Coordinate with field staff, and community partners during project activities.


Qualifications:

M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology (Child/Developmental/Clinical/Applied Psychology preferred).

Strong interest in child and women research.

Basic knowledge of research methods, data handling, and psychological tools.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Empathy and sensitivity while working with children and families.


Experience:

Preference: Candidates with experience in child psychology, research, or fieldwork.

Fresher candidates with enthusiasm to learn and contribute are also welcome to apply.
