About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Senior Product Designer - Platform with a strong background in SaaS platforms and a passion for creating intuitive, robust, and scalable designs. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with specialized tools, complex environments, and system thinking: Demonstrated experience with tools used by developers, analysts, or other professionals working with data, either as a user or in designing for such products. Proven ability to navigate and design for intricate systems and products, with a strong sense of system thinking to ensure scalability and coherence across the platform.
• Leadership skills: Capable of defining and driving a UX vision within cross-functional teams and influencing change across multiple teams.
• Comfort with Ambiguity: As our products are largely 0-1, ability to navigate and make decisions in uncertain or evolving situations, adapting designs and strategies as needed.
• Research expertise: Ability to independently conduct research using a variety of methods and make informed decisions on when research is necessary.
• A strong portfolio: A detailed case study demonstrating your experience, learnings and outcomes from building SaaS products that have undergone the entire software development life cycle, from conceptualization to development.
• Expertise in design tools and methodologies: You should be proficient with Figma, Sketch, XD, and capable of creating micro-interactions with tools like Principle, AfterEffects, and ProtoPie.
• A collaborative mindset: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Business, and CX teams to align the design vision with business goals and technical constraints.
• Product intuition: You should have a track record of shipping products, understanding why they succeeded or failed, and being able to articulate this insight to others.
• Business acumen: You should be comfortable discussing business goals and aligning them with your design decisions.

Good to Haves:

• A background in Computer Science/Computer Engineering: This can help in understanding the intricacies of platform and product design from a technical perspective.
• Experience in working on 0-1 SaaS products: Experience in building products from the ground up is valuable, especially in a platform-focused role.
• Strong understanding of design systems: This ensures consistency, scalability, and efficiency in the design process across the platform.
• Fintech experience: While not required, experience with a SaaS product in the FinTech space would be useful.
• Diverse work experience: Experience working in both startup and enterprise environments is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Design Ownership: From understanding the Why behind a feature to sketching ideas on a whiteboard and translating them into detailed user flows and screens.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure designs are implemented flawlessly and meet business objectives.
• Data-Driven Design: Continuously monitor and analyze user data and feedback to refine designs and improve user experience and engagement.
• Innovation and Experimentation: Drive innovation by experimenting with new design patterns, methodologies, and tools to enhance the product experience.
