Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior QA Engineer (Automation) with 4–6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation testing using Playwright and Python, along with a basic understanding of CI/CD processes. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams while working US EST hours (5 PM – 3 AM, Mon–Fri).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for web and mobile applications using Playwright.
  • Identify, document, and report defects clearly using Jira, ensuring effective communication with the development team.
  • Perform end-to-end testing using Playwright, Selenium, and Postman.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to maintain high product quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to discussions on quality and process improvements.
  • Ensure automation scripts are scalable, maintainable, and reusable for future testing.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of QA experience with a focus on automation testing.
  • Advanced expertise in Playwright for UI and functional automation.
  • Advanced experience in Python scripting for test automation.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium and Postman.
  • Strong knowledge of test case design, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently during US EST hours.
