Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with hands-on expertise in web automation testing using Selenium and Python. The ideal candidate should have strong experience designing automation frameworks, writing scalable scripts, and ensuring the quality of web applications through systematic testing and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web automation scripts using Selenium with Python.
  • Create and enhance automation frameworks for UI and functional testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
  • Execute and maintain automated regression test suites for web-based applications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables through continuous integration and automation coverage.
  • Analyze automation results and provide actionable insights to improve test efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews and QA process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 6 years of experience in automation testing for web applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Python scripting.
  • Experience in Pytest / Unittest or similar automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and DOM structure for UI validation.
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing environments or cross-browser platforms.
  • Knowledge of database validation (SQL).
