Responsibilities

1.Act as the technical authority and SME for all energy utility infrastructure decisions. Develop and implement strategic plans for electrical, ELV, and energy systems aligned with urban planning goals.

2.Lead design and engineering of electrical distribution, renewable energy integration, EV charging infrastructure, and smart metering systems. Ensure compliance with Indian and international standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, BIS, CEA) and coordinate with DISCOMs like MSEDCL, BEST, Adani Electricity.

3.Oversee and review all electrical design drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards.

4.Drive the adoption of new technologies, sustainable design practices, and energy-efficient solutions in electrical infrastructure.

5.Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering to optimize performance and cost.

7.Collaborate closely with architects, civil, mechanical, plumbing, ICT and other engineering disciplines, PMC team to ensure integrated and coordinated designs, manage related project timelines, budgets, and resources.

8.Ensure statutory compliance with codes and permitting requirements in Mumbai and Maharashtra.

9.Represent the company in discussions with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

10.Lead the design and integration of Smart City and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring, fault diagnostics, and energy optimization.

11.Drive initiatives in smart metering, renewable energy integration, EV charging infrastructure and grid modernization aligned with smart city frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical compliance, cybersecurity, and seamless interoperability of energy systems.

12.Oversee deployment of microgrids, battery storage, and energy management systems for resilience and reliability.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with Master's degree in Energy Systems / Urban Infrastructure / Business Administration, PMP or LEED AP certification preferred
  •  5+ years of work experience, 10+ years leading functions in mid/large-scale organisations, experience in multiple locations/national level, MNC/Indian/Conglomerates, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Utilities, Smart Cities, Electrical distribution, renewable energy, smart grids, ELV systems, strategic thinking, innovation, execution excellence
