We are looking for a motivated Solar Engineer Intern to support the design, installation, and technical operations of solar power systems. The intern will work closely with the engineering and installation teams to gain hands-on experience in site assessment, system design, installation supervision, and performance monitoring.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want a strong foundation in solar engineering and renewable energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Survey & Assessment

  • Assist in conducting rooftop/site surveys for residential and commercial solar projects.
  • Take measurements, shading analysis, panel layout planning, and structural assessment.
  • Record onsite data, photos, and technical parameters.

2. System Design & Planning

  • Support in preparing basic solar panel layouts and system configurations.
  • Assist senior engineers with design calculations (load, generation, cable sizing).
  • Learn to use design tools such as SketchUp, Helioscope, AutoCAD, or similar.
  • Help in preparing project proposals and BOQ (Bill of Quantities).

3. Installation Supervision

  • Support installation team during solar panel mounting, wiring, inverter installation, and system testing.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are followed at site.
  • Help troubleshoot basic issues under supervision.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare daily installation reports, survey reports, and project documentation.
  • Assist in preparing work completion reports and customer handover documents.
  • Maintain project files and drawings.

5. Technical Support

  • Coordinate with the technical team for material planning and logistics.
  • Learn inverter configurations, monitoring system setup, and system commissioning.
  • Support performance testing and system health checks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
