- Testing Lead will oversee the planning, design, execution, and reporting of manual testing efforts to ensure the quality of software applications across various projects. Test Strategy Planning:Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for manual testing, aligning with project goals and timelines. Define scope, schedule, and deliverables for testing activities. Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manual testers. Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure effective communication and collaboration across the team. Test Design Execution:Design, create, and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data based on functional and non-functional requirements. Execute test cases manually to verify that the system functions as expected. Test Reporting:Generate test status reports, including test execution progress, defect metrics, and quality trends. Communicate testing outcomes to stakeholders and management. Collaboration with Development Teams:Work closely with software developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements and ensure that testing aligns with development cycles. Regression Testing:Lead the team in conducting thorough regression testing during software updates, ensuring new features or bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality. Process Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements in the testing lifecycle, ensuring increased efficiency and effectiveness in testing practices. Risk Assessment:Identify testing risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery without compromising quality. Experience:5+ years of experience in manual testing, with at least 2 years in a lead or management role. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle.
