Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies for SAP applications.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements.
  • Execute functional, integration, and regression tests to ensure application reliability.
  • Identify defects and provide detailed reports for resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for identified issues and propose solutions.
  • Support test data management and setup activities.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and provide testing updates.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior testing personnel.
  • Review testing documentation and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Monitor and report testing progress to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends in SAP and test automation.
  • Integrate testing activities within the DevOps processes.
  • Assist in the development of user acceptance testing plans.
  • Utilize Performance Testing tools to assess application responsiveness and stability.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP testing roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP modules and functionalities.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools like SAP TAO, UFT, or Selenium.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks.
  • Experience in writing and executing SQL queries for database testing.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile testing environments.
  • Ability to develop clear and concise test documentation.
  • Solid understanding of web services testing (SOAP/REST).
  • Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A test certification (e.g., ISTQB or equivalent) is preferred.
