About the Business / Function

We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Manual Testing, Web Application Testing, and JMeter for automation and performance testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of STLC, and software quality processes, along with experience in API testing and a keen eye for identifying and resolving issues in fast-paced Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications.
  • Define and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test data in alignment with project requirements.
  • Conduct functional, regression, smoke/sanity, and integration testing.
  • Develop and execute performance tests using JMeter; analyze results and provide recommendations.
  • Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman and Swagger; perform validation using JSON and XML data.
  • Understand and validate HTTP methods, status codes, cookies, and sessions during testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and business teams to ensure complete and effective test coverage.
  • Participate actively in Agile sprints and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as a QA/Test Engineer.
  • Education: B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA.
