Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned PCB Bring-Up Engineer to lead the validation and debugging of complex printed circuit boards across medical, defense, and imaging applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in board-level testing, signal integrity analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with design, firmware, and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform initial power-on, functional verification, and debugging of newly fabricated PCBs
  • Develop and execute bring-up test plans, including boundary scan, JTAG, and functional tests
  • Interface with hardware designers to validate schematics and layout against performance targets
  • Collaborate with firmware and software teams to validate board-level interfaces and protocols
  • Document test results, failure analysis, and corrective actions for design iterations
  • Support EMC, thermal, and reliability testing as needed

Qualifications and required skills

  • B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in PCB bring-up and hardware validation
  • Proficiency in debugging tools
  • Strong understanding of high-speed digital and mixed-signal design
  • Experience with embedded interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet)
  • Familiarity with schematic capture and layout tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, KiCad)
  • Excellent documentation and cross-functional communication skills
