Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Ruby on Rails Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework, with strong attention to performance, code quality, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code.
  • Develop and integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.
  • Create and maintain APIs for seamless integration with other services.
  • Ensure application security, data protection, and optimal performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using RSpec or Minitest.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
  • Participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and agile sprints.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Ruby programming language and Rails framework (MVC architecture).
  • Strong understanding of OOP principles, RESTful API design, and Active Record.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks , , etc.).
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
  • Working knowledge of Git, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD tools.
  • Understanding of background job frameworks (Sidekiq, Resque, Delayed Job).
  • Hands-on experience with deployment tools like Heroku, AWS, or Docker.
  • Awareness of application security best practices.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with GraphQL APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
