Core responsibilities

  • Client and staff coordination:
  • Consult with clients and the banquet sales director to understand their needs and contract details.
  • Communicate with other departments, such as housekeeping, front office, and the kitchen, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Event planning and setup:
  • Plan event logistics, including layout, seating arrangements, and décor.
  • Determine staffing needs, such as the number of wait staff required.
  • Coordinate food and beverage service, including menu review and special requests.
  • Staff supervision and management:
  • Hire, train, and supervise banquet staff.
  • Motivate the team and delegate tasks to ensure high-quality service.
  • Conduct team meetings and provide ongoing training opportunities.
  • Financial and quality control:
  • Manage budgets and control costs for each event.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of food, beverages, and service.
  • Ensure all equipment, such as glassware, linen, and cutlery, is maintained and stocked.
  • Operational duties:
  • Ensure the venue is clean, sanitized, and properly set up for each event.
  • Maintain a record of pending bills and ensure timely payments.
  • Handle any guest concerns and ensure a positive experience for everyone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
