Position Summary
Level: Manager
As a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, you will oversee the technical delivery of enterprise-scale software solutions, lead cross-functional and global teams and mentor junior members. You will collaborate to understand functional requirements, support sales and proposal efforts, and drive end-to-end project delivery, including estimation and planning, to ensure successful outcomes.
Work you'll do:
HC Forward is Deloitte's innovation engine for Human Capital, integrating technology, data, and industry expertise to create scalable solutions and assets that extend client capabilities and drive ongoing value across all Human Capital offerings. We are seeking an experienced VMS Expert to lead end-to-end implementations of various VMS modules (CW, SOW/SP, Worker Profile) for our clients.
In this role you will -
- Need deep expertise in Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and contingent workforce management.
- Lead end-to-end implementation lifecycle from requirements gathering to go-live and post-production support.
- Collaborate with leadership to define scope of work (SoW), estimate effort, and allocate resources.
- Configure and implement EWS Talent Experience processes (onboarding, offboarding, check-ins, etc.).
- Design and build complex workflows, approval hierarchies, and business rules in SAP Fieldglass.
- Integrate Fieldglass with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Ariba, payroll).
- Manage data migration and validation activities for a smooth system transition.
- Define testing strategies, create test plans, execute unit, integration, and UAT testing.
- Conduct workshops and requirements sessions to gather and refine client needs.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and configuration documents.
- Present system designs, configurations, and recommendations to client leadership.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP Fieldglass best practices and industry-specific configurations.
- Configure user roles, permissions, rate structures, SOW templates, and master data in Fieldglass.
- Develop and manage integrations using Fieldglass APIs and web services.
- Create custom reports and dashboards using Fieldglass reporting tools.
- Deliver training, documentation, and change management support, and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 7+ years of hands on experience in VMS (Vendor Management System) implementation, configuration, and integration.
- Proven expertise in large-scale enterprise software implementations, especially in contingent workforce or talent management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects including resource planning, estimation, and stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of contingent workforce management and associated operational processes.
- In-depth knowledge of vendor management and procurement workflows.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements related to contingent labor.
- Understanding of finance and accounting processes tied to contingent workforce operations.
- Track record of successfully managing complex implementation projects end-to-end.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for implementation and integration challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate across business and technical groups.
- Experience preparing documentation such as technical specs, process flows, and implementation roadmaps.
- Skilled at managing risk, timelines, and scope across multi-phase enterprise deployments.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Hands-on experience with VMS platforms such as SAP Fieldglass or Workday VNDLY.
- Knowledge of cloud-based SaaS platforms and their deployment models.
- Familiarity with global workforce management practices and international compliance needs.
- Advanced degree or certifications in project management or related fields (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP).
- Experience supporting change management and end-user training during enterprise rollouts.
Education:
BBA/BE/B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc. (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university.
