Position Summary
Level: Analyst
As an experienced Analyst at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines.
Work you'll do:
The Analyst will support transformation, migration, consulting engagements and audit work by applying US GAAP, STAT, TAX, and LDTI regulations. Additionally, the professional will utilize their modeling and technical skills to develop or modify actuarial tools that validate various financial cash flows and results generated by life insurance companies.
- Work on GGY/Moody's Axis modelling projects
- Get involved in transformation/migration from one actuarial software to another
- Build/modify excel spreadsheets/actuarial software that project and validate the cashflows generated by models
- Acquire knowledge and remain well versed with US products and Regulations
- Apply US GAAP, STAT and TAX, IFRS17 and LDTI regulations to products for calculating reserves, and other cashflows
- Work on Prophet, GGY/Moody's Axis, Polysystems or Moses actuarial models
- Interpret assumptions and experience studies results of insurance companies

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience in life insurance actuarial domain
- The candidate is expected to pursue Actuarial certification form IFOA, IAI or SOA
- Cleared 2 actuarial exams. Preferably CT1 (CM1), CT3 (CS1)
- Excellent problem solving and client service skills
- Willingness and ability to travel to meet client needs
- Good understanding of cash-flow projection methodologies for life insurance products
- Good understanding of concepts, regulations and guidelines and application of it to multiple projects
- Strong Product knowledge is expected (specifically US products), with experience in Pricing, Valuation or Reporting
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Experience in GGY/Moody's AXIS Modelling will be preferred
- Candidates with modelling experience and software migration experience will be preferred
- Advance knowledge and experience in Actuarial software including AXIS, Prophet, Moses shall be critical factor for hiring
- Candidates with strong experience in Reinsurance valuation, modelling or reporting will be preferred
- Strong experience of US GAAP, US STAT or LDTI shall be preferred
- Strong US Product knowledge, specifically in FIA, is expected, with experience in Reserving, Valuation or Reporting
- Candidates are expected to possess strong life actuarial technical skills with a strong consulting mindset. Who could work with multiple clients and have extremely good communication skills
Education:
- Graduation/Post Graduation with mathematics/statistics or any subject with sizeable mathematical content
