Location: Head Office – Mumbai | Full-Time | Function: Technology

One of the leading BFSI companies is looking for an Assistant Manager – Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) to join our Cyber Security & GRC team. This role will support implementation of SEBI, RBI, and other regulatory compliance frameworks, drive information security initiatives, and ensure effective IT risk management practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and implement SEBI, RBI, and other IT governance & information security requirements.
  • Assist in creation, review, and modification of IT & ISMS policies and guidelines.
  • Conduct IT risk assessments and maintain risk registers.
  • Support ISO 27001 implementation and SOC governance.
  • Ensure compliance of information assets by identifying and mitigating confidentiality, integrity & availability risks.
  • Support internal/external audits (ITGC, ITAC, VAPT) and ensure closure of audit observations.
  • Collaborate with infra, application, and network teams to embed security solutions.
  • Drive user awareness programs and information security communication initiatives.
  • Support cyber security incident management and vendor compliance.

Ideal Candidate

  • 4–6 years of total experience, with at least 3–5 years relevant in BFSI/NBFC compliance & cyber security.
  • Qualifications: BE / MBA.
  • Hands-on experience with SEBI, RBI compliance, ITGC, ISO 27001, vendor risk, and audits.
  • Professional certifications preferred: CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, ISO 27001, COBIT, CEH.
  • Knowledge of data center security, network security, and IT risk assessments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to challenge status quo.
