- Set daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals for the team and track progress.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Customer Experience:
- Address any customer complaints or issues with empathy and professionalism, ensuring timely resolution.
- Build long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals and repeat clients by providing tailored shopping experiences.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Drive sales growth by implementing strategies that attract new customers while retaining existing ones.
- Ensure the store achieves or exceeds sales targets through effective product placement, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Inventory and Stock Management:
- Oversee inventory control, ensuring the store is fully stocked with premium items and that inventory is properly managed.
- Ensure stock levels are accurately tracked and report any discrepancies to the Operations Manager.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of new merchandise and avoid stockouts.
- Ensure proper organization and presentation of products, ensuring that the store reflects the high-end image of the brand.
- Operations Management:
- Manage store opening and closing procedures, ensuring proper security and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed, including health and safety regulations, security protocols, and customer service standards.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including sales reports, cash handling, and expense tracking.
- Ensure the efficient running of the day-to-day store operations, managing schedules, payroll, and administrative tasks.
- Brand Representation and Networking:
- Represent the brand at local luxury events, private client gatherings, and industry trade shows.
- Foster relationships with interior designers, architects, and other partners to drive traffic and sales to the store.
- Promote the brand's values and premium status within the local community.
- Marketing and Promotions:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement local store promotions, advertising, and social media campaigns.
- Promote limited-edition or exclusive products to attract high-end clientele.
- Encourage customer participation in loyalty programs and special offers that enhance brand loyalty.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management, ideally in luxury goods or high-end retail environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a team.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and resolve issues promptly.
- Strong sales acumen, with a focus on high-value transactions and meeting/exceeding targets.
- In-depth product knowledge and an understanding of luxury home decor trends and materials.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage both day-to-day operations and long-term goals.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff, customers, and senior management.
- A deep understanding of visual merchandising principles and the ability to create attractive and inspiring displays.
- Proficiency in using retail management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office.
