About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Corporate Affairs Manager to oversee and manage the company's interactions with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, government agencies, industry groups, media, and the public. This role is critical in shaping our corporate image, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing public relations, and supporting our strategic communication initiatives.

Responsibilities

1. Government and Regulatory Affairs:

 Serve as the primary liaison between the company and government authorities, regulatory agencies, and industry associations.

 Monitor, interpret, and communicate regulatory and legislative developments affecting the business.

 Advocate company interests in policy matters and support lobbying initiatives where appropriate.

 Ensure full compliance with applicable corporate, environmental, and industry regulations.

2. Corporate Communications & Public Relations:

 Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies to promote the company's image and brand.

 Manage media relations and handle press releases, briefings, and crisis communication.

 Serve as a spokesperson or coordinate with spokespersons for media interactions.

 Coordinate with PR agencies, media consultants, and communication partners.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:

 Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including policymakers, trade bodies, NGOs, and local communities.

 Organize events, forums, and meetings to enhance stakeholder engagement.

 Track stakeholder concerns and provide timely updates to leadership.

4. Strategic Advisory:

 Advise senior management on external affairs issues and emerging trends that could impact the company's operations or reputation.

 Support the leadership team in decision-making related to corporate strategy, reputation management, and stakeholder relations.

5. CSR and Sustainability:

 Oversee Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs in alignment with company values and regulatory requirements.

 Manage CSR reporting, impact assessment, and compliance with sustainability standards and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) frameworks.

What you'll need

 Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to the company's industry (e.g., SEBI, RBI, MCA, FSSAI, TRAI, etc. as applicable).

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in public speaking and media interaction.

 Knowledge of legal, corporate governance, and statutory matters is a plus.

Qualification

 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Policy, Law, Business Administration, Communications, Political Science, or related field.

 Minimum 6–10 years of experience in corporate affairs, government relations, public policy, or strategic communications.
