Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Billing Executive to handle in-store billing operations. The role includes generating accurate bills for purchases, managing point-of-sale (POS) systems, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers. The ideal candidate should have experience in retail billing and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the billing counter and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Scan and bill items accurately, ensuring correct prices, offers, and discounts are applied.
  • Collect payments via cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and digital wallets.
  • Ensure timely and accurate issuance of printed receipts/invoices.
  • Handle customer queries and resolve billing-related concerns promptly.
  • Reconcile cash and sales at the end of the shift and maintain proper records.
  • Ensure proper tagging and barcoding of merchandise before billing.
  • Report daily sales and billing summaries to the store/accounts manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the billing area.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in billing/cashier roles in a retail environment.
  • Knowledge of POS software and billing systems.
  • Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12, ₹15,000.00 per month
